TOWN MEETING MARCH 5, 2024

Charleston Town & School District Meeting will be held on Tuesday March 5, 2024 at Charleston Elementary School, beginning at 10:00 and ending when all business is complete. All offices and articles are voted from the floor.

2023 Annual Town Reports are being mailed to all voter households in advance of the 2024 Town Meeting. Please refer to page 11 for the 2024 Town Meeting Warning, and bring your Town Report with you to Town Meeting.

Note: The Town Clerk’s Office closes at 1:00 pm on the day preceding an election.

NOTE: Election Day Voter Registration went into effect on January 1, 2017. Eligible residents will be able to register to vote on any day up to and including Election Day during regular hours. (The Clerk’s Office still appreciates advance registration whenever possible.)

Upcoming Elections
March 5, 2024 Annual School District Meeting and Annual Town Meeting, Charleston Elementary, 10:00 am
March 5, 2024 Presidential Primary, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm, Charleston Elementary. Voters must choose Democrat or Republic ballot.
August 13, 2024 Statewide Primary, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm, Town Clerk’s Office
November 5, 2024 General Election, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm, Town Clerk’s Office. The Vermont Secretary of State’s Office will mail ballots to all active registered voters. Monitor the status or your ballot at My Voter Page and call the Town Clerk with any questions.
