TOWN MEETING MARCH 3, 2026
Charleston Town & School District Meeting will be held on Tuesday March 3, 2026 at Charleston Elementary School, beginning at 10:00 am and ending when all business is complete. All offices and articles are voted from the floor.
2025 Annual Town Reports are being mailed to all voter households in advance of the 2026 Town Meeting. Please refer to page 13 for the 2026 Town Meeting Warning, and bring your Town Report with you to Town Meeting.
Community Meal Charleston Girl Scout Troop #64165 invites community members to stay after the Town Meeting for a meal of chicken and biscuits. This meal is provided through troop funds, with support from NCSU Encore and the Community Schools Programs. Water will be provided; please feel free to bring another beverage if you wish. Girl Scout cookie sales will begin at 9:00 a.m.

Note: The Town Clerk’s Office closes at 1:00 pm on the day preceding an election.

NOTE: Election Day Voter Registration went into effect on January 1, 2017. Eligible residents will be able to register to vote on any day up to and including Election Day during regular hours. (The Clerk’s Office still appreciates advance registration whenever possible.)
